Man Allegedly Raped His 11-Year-Old Step-Daughter Who Gave Birth to His Child: Prosecutors

An Ohio man was found guilty of raping his 11-year-old daughter after his two stepdaughters claimed he also raped them.

One of the stepdaughters claimed that the 48-year-old sex offender raped her and gave birth to his child when she was 11 years old.

The Columbus man was convicted of one count of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition of a child under the age of 13. Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office he said in a statement.

The conviction against the man, who PEOPLE is not naming to protect the identities of family members, stemmed from his daughter’s rape charges in 2022, according to the office.

Police responded to an incident at a Columbus residence in August 2021 where the man’s daughter and two stepdaughters said he sexually assaulted them multiple times. News and Observer it was reported, citing unspecified court documents.

The girl, who was 11 at the time, told police the man had sexually assaulted her, according to documents.

His stepdaughters later accused the man of raping them from 2008 to 2019 when they were between the ages of 11 and 17, during which time they all lived together. NBC4 It was reported with reference to the prosecutor’s office.

Police claimed that during this time, the perpetrator impregnated one of his stepdaughters, and she gave birth to the child when she was 11 years old. News and Observer.

DNA testing would later confirm he was the child’s father, NBC 4 reported, citing prosecutors.

It was not immediately clear if there were other charges against his stepdaughters. The Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for more information.

In the statement made by the prosecutor’s office, it was stated that the perpetrator is expected to be sentenced on December 17 and may face life imprisonment with the possibility of parole after 15 years.
